career! Apothecary Products, LLC (APL) is currently adding an
Associate Production Planner to its manufacturing/distribution
headquarters in Burnsville, Minnesota. In partnership with other
Supply Chain Planning team members, you will plan, coordinate, and
monitor the flow of products through the production cycle. This
collaborative position will execute timely planning and scheduling
of production work orders to the Burnsville manufacturing floor
ensuring efficient production operations to meet customer demand
and optimize inventory levels. The role offers a unique opportunity

caring, dedicated cross-functional team. In this role you will:
- Facilitate the timely coordination and scheduling of production
work orders
- Analyze demand requirements for materials and utilize ERP
system to generate and cascade work orders and picklists
- Participate in regular meetings with cross-functional teams to
review production plans, discuss challenges, and implement
corrective action
- Coordinate with Production and Warehouse teams to ensure
production orders are executed on time and in accordance with
company standards
- Coordinate with Warehouse/Supply Chain Planning on material
shortages to ensure availability of raw materials and finished
goods
- Partner with Marketing and Sales for commercial product
launches to ensure inventory phase in and out plans yields the
least exposure but remains within the timeline
- Utilize Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems with a
systematic approach to ensure it achieves optimal inventory
availability
- Assist in the development of production plans in accordance
with material, labor, and equipment availability in collaboration
with other Production Planners/Supply Chain Planning team
members
- Perform various administrative tasks to enhance production
processes, reduce costs and optimize inventory levels
- Serve as the main contact to notify Customer Service of
anticipated late deliveries
- Foster a system of continuous improvement that complies with
all organizational quality policies; support the processes of ISO
13485 and other certifications deemed necessary by APL
- Serve as a back-up to select responsibilities for Supply Chain
Planning team, as requested
- Other duties as beneficial to the success of APL Qualifications
+ Experience:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years in production planning, supply chain management or
related.
- Thorough knowledge of APL's manufacturing operations and
products, or ability to quickly attain
- Knowledge of the ISO 13485 quality system, Good Manufacturing
Practices (GMP), and of world-wide regulatory requirements for
medical devices or ability to quickly attain
- Strong working knowledge of raw materials, production
processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for the
effective manufacture and distribution of goods
- Foundational understanding of enterprise resource planning and
supply chain management concepts
- Demonstrated experience with effectively managing and
prioritizing multiple deliverables
- Must have strong ability to collaborate, build, and maintain
strong relationships with operations and internal sales, marketing,
and other cross-functional team members
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including
proven verbal, written, and presentation skills
- Technical proficiency to productively work with and in
Microsoft Office and other business systems
- Ability to work with a diverse team
- Verified experience operating in a fast-paced business
experience with demonstrated effectiveness in a small
company/location

Preferred Qualifications:
- Preferred credentials includes advanced education, progressing
responsibility in a manufacturing environment, and/or experience in
supporting retail customers and eCommerce operations within an
ISO-compliant environment
