Affording the extraordinary has never been easier.Business Intelligence Analyst/Developer (PowerBI)The Business Intelligence Analyst/Developer will be responsible for driving the implementation and development of reporting/analytics through the MS Power Platform at Stauer. This position will be responsible to learn our current Hyperion platform and continue the transition of all reporting and analytics to MS PowerBI. This position will also be involved in the back-end data infrastructure of the Company to ensure we have accurate, complete and efficient movement of data between systems.Key Responsibilities: Develop and drive the PowerBI business intelligence platform for the organizationTransition all key reports utilized by the business from Hyperion to PowerBI in 2023Create KPIs and reporting package for teams to provide insight into organization to make strategic decisions.Collaborate with team members for the purpose of collecting data and providing insights to support the company's business strategyAnalyze business requirements and processes.Create and maintain documentation that includes the design, requirements and user manualsIdentify the development needs for the purpose of streamlining and improving the operations of the organization for efficiency and profitability - work with a variety of data sources - extracting knowledge and actionable informationAnalyze and build data models for use in regular and/or automated reporting and analysisBe a passionate problem solver - breaking down problems and developing analytical insightsConvey results to a wide variety of internal and external stakeholdersSupport the business with ad hoc reporting - but drive self service / training whenever possibleOffer insight to all aspects of the organization - product, marketing, sales, ops etc....Willingness and ability to train and teach others.Collaborate with IT team members, stakeholders, end users, and other cross-functional teams Evaluate, upgrade, and implement technologyQualifications: 2+ years of current experience in MS PowerBI development, creating reports and the underlying data structures 5+ years supporting business operations in a reporting/analytics capacityMatillion/Snowflake experience a plusExperience with Hyperion queries/reporting writing is desiredBA or BS in statistics, data analytics, math, computer scienceA love for insights, intellectual curiosity, and a deep desire to find ways to create valueComfort in a complex data environment and understanding of data structuresAbility to organize and lead meetings with business and operational data ownersAbility to tell a story to the end user using dataStrong ability to troubleshoot and resolve data issuesWork independently with team members to understand database structure and business processData Preparation: Fluency using Power Query and writing SQL queries for data preparation Data Visualization Skills: being able to quickly provide meaningful insights from dataExperience with M Language for Power Query Documenting all Power BI new and already existing assets, processes and procedures Excellent presentation, writing, and Excel skills are a mustProject Management experience Benefits/Company Perks:Health, Vision and Dental coverageFlexible SchedulesCompany Paid Basic Life CoverageMatching 401k PlanDisability PlansPaid Holidays & Paid Time Off (PTO)Discounted ProductsStauer does not to discriminate against any applicant for employment, or any employee because of age, color, sex, disability, national origin, race, religion, or veteran status in accordance with EEO.Nextten Stauer, LLC is committed to providing Equal Employment Opportunities to all applicants and employees.
