Fleet company, is seeking an experienced Master Production Planner
to join the team in Eagan, MN. If you have five or more years of
Production Planning/Scheduling experience, and leadership

Essential duties and responsibilities: Use ERP system and maximize
tools and resources available to meet production demands and
improve process Create standard work to meet production goals
Create a Master Production Plan for the fabrication and assembly
departments. Utilize the production capacity, taking into
consideration the sales forecast, historical sales, and new
business opportunities Analyze and identify risks associated with
the options built into the Master Production Plan, including
manufacturing lead times. Perform supply demand analysis each
quarter, highlighting areas of concern for the next 6 months.
Adjust as needed based on business demands Make delivery
commitments on MTO products, which involve checking uncommitted
material and availability of capacity. Develop inventory targets
and manage production to achieve targeted inventory levels on both
a cost and unit basis. Review target levels quarterly considering
service levels and inventory turn targets. Maintain parts and
finished goods inventory at target levels in ensure high service
levels, i.E. product availability. Perform satisfactory review of
inventory target levels on a quarterly basis. Achieve desired
corporate inventory turn targets. Work closely with Procurement
function to establish required safety stocks and re-order signaling
processes for purchased materials and to determine when scheduling
adjustments are necessary due to insufficient material deliveries.
Ensure coordination with fabrication and assembly supervisors to
execute Production Plan on a weekly and monthly basis. Assist in
identifying required staffing levels based on standard times.
Monitor actual output versus the Master Production Plan. Identify
gaps and drive solutions, including a metric for production
performance to the requested production schedule. Work with
Fabrication Supervisor to schedule production of prototypes and to
develop new part-product operations and standard times. Timely
reporting of key metrics. Support the SIOP process meetings to
review service levels, performance against schedule, inventory
strategy, supply plan to meet demand, and resource implications.
Update Master Production Plan as necessary. Create and maintain
