objectives. We are seeking a Production Planner who enjoys working
as a member of a team to develop customer relationships and drive
Trystar specifications. This position will be part of the planning
team. Under the direction of the SIOP Manager, the Production
Planner will be responsible for the full execution of the SIOP
process and the production scheduling of one of the new value
streams. This role will help implementing the SIOP process to
improve our planning abilities. This position will participate in
company cross-functional discussions and help implement tools for
demand and supply activities to align materials, labor and
technical functions to delivery customer and financial plans.

Job Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with the Demand Manager to track forecasts and
provide feedback of abnormal demand.
- Assist and prepare documentation for SIOP Reviews, including
metrics, assumptions, and planning scenarios.
- Support continuous improvement efforts to advance the SIOP
process capabilities.
- Participate in cross-functional discussions to document demand
and supply assumptions to refine the planning.
- Recommend and implement improvements in management processes
and procedures.
- Schedule production and check materials availability.
- Coordinate with supervisors to execute production schedule and
measure production attainment.
- Assist in resolving problems concerning shipments, shortages,
and engineering changes.
- Work with the commercial team to advise on sales orders'
delivery dates and supply challenges.
- Perform root cause analysis as part of the PDCA efforts to
develop appropriate solutions for key metric misses.
- Provides buyers with components purchase request information to
support the production schedule.
- Coordinate with the Sales and Engineering departments on job
order's accuracy.
- Track Sales and Job Order's creation to trigger PO requisitions
for customized components when needed.
- Track transactional data to improve ERP cleanliness and
accuracy.
- Maintain Epicor's planning parameters and leverage utilization
of the ERP planning tools.
- Coordinate planning activities for job orders that need to be
outsourced.
- Provide detailed ad-hoc analysis as needed to solve specific
supply chain issues.
- Maintain inventory analysis reports and provide feedback for
critical components.
- Track inventory levels for finished goods and components.
- Performs other related duties and assignments as required.
Job Requirements: BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline preferred
- 3 years of working in manufacturing environment as
planner/scheduler.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 5 years of working in manufacturing environment as
planner/scheduler.
- Highly motivated, passionate, eager to learn about new
products, exceptional communication skills.
- Experienced using ERP systems; knowledge of supply chain
processes; Epicor experience a plus.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office with advanced knowledge of
Microsoft Excel.
- Strong organizational skills with ability to prioritize
competing demands and manage multiple assignments.
- Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.
- Flexible to provide support for multiple shift manufacturing
operations as needed.
