The Training and Development Manager, or "Dean of the Jack Ryan Academy", is responsible for improving individual and organizational performance. TRAINING AND DEVELOPMENT MANAGER KEY DUTIES (ILLUSTRATIVE, NOT INCLUSIVE): Develop and manage training in all areas below but not limited to:
Sales
Customer Service
Technical
Coaching/Leading/Management
HVAC
Plumbing
Electrical
Software
All new department positions as business evolves
Create and maintain curriculum
Breakdown our needs, build career paths, lead, manage and implement action plans
Design and develop training material (training procedure manuals, guides, or course materials, such as handouts or visual materials) and facilitation to meet learning objectives and accommodate a variety of learning styles to include Hands-on, Role-play, Lecture, Self-paced, LMS
Utilize external sources
Nexstar
MRA
Trade schools
Vendors and manufacturers
And much more
Monitor and evaluate training program's effectiveness by testing comprehension, providing continuing education, promoting career paths and determining ROI
Determine ROI by working with managers to evaluate warranty and recall data to identify who needs reinforcement and what needs reinforcement.
Develop alternative training methods if expected improvements are not seen
