**Overview****Position details:**+ 0.8 FTE - 64 hours worked per 2 week pay period+ Work schedule - Monday - Friday, typical shifts7:00AM - 3:30PM, 7:30AM-4:00PM, 8:00AM-4:40PM and 8:30AM-5:00PM+ Scheduled holiday rotation+ Benefit eligible+ Additional opportunities to pick up shifts for help with coverage over vacation and sick calls possible+ Will work at both hospital and our outpatient clinic location**Responsibilities**This position provides leadership and direction to the daily operations of their clinical area. This leader ensures the delivery of high-quality images and services consistent with the core values of the organization and the professional regulatory and accrediting body standards of the department. Helps to ensure operations function at top levels of efficiency and exceeds customer expectations. Demonstrates the ability to coordinate the teamwork of the healthcare team, assigning and advising staff, and being responsible for the daily workload to facilitate and coordinate patient exams.Maintains patient care - Performs examinations - Identifies relevant data from images accurately. - Communicates pertinent data clearly to the appropriate health care professional - Ensures patient safety and emergency preparedness - Verify patient identification and documentation - Communicate and educate patient regarding pertinent information during all aspects of the procedure - Achieves quality diagnostic images through correct patient positioning and use of technical factors according to protocolEnsures patient data integrity - Accurately completes computer functions, edits, scheduling, billing, status changes and image transfers in a timely manner - Accurate image marking and digital image manipulation and archivingWork as a team member/leader - Orients, mentors, and assures proper training and complete competency testing of new employees and students - Sees opportunities for and participates in department/facility process/quality improvement initiatives - Responsible for personal and professional development to ensure current knowledge required for position - Assures proper cleaning and maintenance of rooms and appropriate supply inventory - Coordinates and integrates services with customers and care partners to provide continuity of high-quality care and service. - Performs other duties as assignedAccurately operates equipment according to accepted standards and guidelines - Identifies and responds to equipment problems to ensure equipment is working accurately. - Ensures high level of proficiency among the team members - Accepts new technology as it's introduced into the facility - Responsible for Quality Assurance testing as required by regulatory agencies and/or manufacturer recommendations.**Qualifications****Required:** - Current Registration with American Registry Radiologic Technology (ARRT) - 3-year experience as a CT technologist or other management/leadership experienceLicense/Certification/Registration - Basic Life Support**Preferred:** - 3-5 years of experience as a CT technologist or other management/leadership experience**Need help finding the right job?**We can recommend jobs specifically for you!_Fairview Health Services (fairview.org) is an award-winning, nonprofit health system providing exceptional care across the full spectrum of health care services.
