Job Description:

SUMMARY: Negotiate and purchase goods and services for the Food & Beverage division. Responsible for a high level of guest service as described in your departments guest service standards.

? Perform Requests for Proposal (RFP) and quotes (RFQ), negotiate prices, analyzes bids and prepare supporting documentation, recommendations and justifications
? Maximize profits through high quality, cost effective purchases
? Ensure compliance with policies, procedures and regulatory requirements and maintain records for audits
? Execute of required procurement
? Monitor, set and adjust food and beverage specification and PARs, including disposables, chemicals, equipment and supplies
? Negotiate bids and prepare procurement contracts and stocking agreements for review
? Maintain strong partnerships with vendors
? Complete reports and analyze and compile information to facilitate improved practices
? Evaluate market conditions and recommend new products and suppliers to enhance standards and increase profitability, which may include attending events and exhibitions
? Maintain quality of goods, timely delivery and compliance to terms of contracts
? Consult, advise and guide buyers on practices, processes and standards

Knowledge and Certification
? High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience
? 4-year Business Administration degree or related field and 3 years of related purchasing and negotiating experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience

? Accurate and detail-oriented
? Highly organized and ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities
? Strong computer skills Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook), Windows and purchasing software applications
? Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
? Excellent problem solving, negotiating and conflict resolution skills
? Proficiency in sourcing products and suppliers

? Ability to work fast and efficiently
? Ability to follow established dress code policies and practice good personal hygiene
? Ability to interact with guests, coworkers and management in a professional and courteous manner
? Ability to serve both internal and external customers
? Ability to control purchasing expenses with a cost effective mindset
? Ability to manage purchases in a timely and efficient manner
? Ability to speak in a clear, concise and pleasant voice
? Ability to remain focused for extended periods of time
? Ability to prioritize and complete multiple tasks under pressure while remaining professional
? Ability to make decisions and solve problems through analyzation and evaluation

? Any position-related training as determined by department manager

? Must be able to sit for long periods of time with occasional walking and standing
? Must have a good sense of balance, and be able to bend and kneel
? Must be able to reach and twist routinely
? Must be able to push, pull and grasp objects routinely
? Must have the ability to independently lift 25+ pounds occasionally
? Must be able to perform repetitive hand and wrist motions
? Must have good eye hand coordination

? Work is performed in the administration building but may require going onto the gaming floor, which has flashing lights, frequent loud noises and cigarette smoke; May also require going into the kitchen and warehouse, which has fumes and hot and cold temperatures
? Must be willing to work a flexible schedule including all shifts, weekends and holidays
? Extensive computer use
? Overtime may be required
? Occasionally must deal with angry or hostile individuals
