Job Description - Principal Cloud Data ArchitectPrincipal Enterprise/Product Cloud Architect Minneapolis St Paul, MN $140,000 - $200,000 base range + bonus DOQ Our direct and long-term client is looking to add a Principal level Cloud Data Architect to their organization. This will be the #1 Architect spot in the organization! This is a data-centric, mid-size ( 1200 employee global), SaaS/web-based organization that has gone through a lot of M&A over the last few years. Now that all companies are under one umbrella, it's time to sunset/consolidate 130 products today and focus purely on innovation / optimization / new feature and functionality! This Principal Architect will be the #1 Architect within a small Architecture team to assess the environments, platforms, tools, stacks, data (how/why/where they use it) and come up with the new defined strategy and roadmap! We are looking expert level Data Architecture, entrepreneurial spirit, delivery focus, instant credibility, proven track record of successful roadmap and delivery and of course a very positive and passionate personality! Ideal candidate has startup mentality / experience, coming from tech / Data / geospatial focused companies. This organization wants immediate transformation plans and execution! They do NOT want a meeting-happy environment they want a concrete, scalable, obtainable and progressive data / platform architecture blue print ! This is a data-driven, global, insights organization ( over 600,000 subscribers currently ). This resource will help lead the next generation data strategy and expand advanced solutions on a global scale. Looking for someone with background in Data engineering (technically still savvy) with recent Cloud Architecture experience. Ideally coming from a data-centric organization as well! Responsibilities:

• Facilitate and roadmap a data strategy that aligns with peer platform organizations and product delivery
• Ensure over-arching enterprise platforms are aligned with company initiatives
• Collaborate with peer organizations and product teams to determine project scope
• Manage resources and priorities to effectively meet timeline commitments
• Optimize data platforms to provide faster time-to-market of new products, elimination of redundant solutions, and enhanced data science initiatives
