Job Description:

OnsiteThis position is for a Quality Inspection Test Technician IV who works under minimal supervision. Candidates will analyze models, drawings, and design data of parts and then create and perform standard work instructions to guide the operational steps of the CMM.
*Program, set up, and operate a coordinate measuring machine (CMM) and read and interpret CAD models, technical drawings, and specifications including GD&T
* Optimize inspection methods (e.g., speed) and work within the quality management system and safety standards
* Compile and analyze measurement data, trends, and statistics to assess measurement methods, process capability, repeatability, and reproducibility and use basic math problem-solving skills and identify and report non-conformances of products or processes and provide support for Root Cause and Corrective Action investigations
* Utilize the CMM to qualify the program and ensure parts dimensionally conform and report non-conformances
* Follow Quality Procedures for various functions to ensure compliance with part dimensions on the CMM before acceptance
* Be able to perform First Article Inspection and a quick CMM inspection per engineer requests
* 1st shift hours will be Monday - Friday 6:30 am - 3:00 pm CST.
*Experience and proficiency in the programming of CMMs (without CAD), preferably utilizing Hexagon PC-DMIS software
* Typically requires an AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 8 years relevant experience.
