Job Title: Payroll & Benefits Coordinator
Department: HR
Status: Full Time / Non - Exempt
Reports To: Director of HR
Innovative Office Solutions wants to Inspire People to Love what

to work for in MN. A Payroll and Benefits Coordinator will be
responsible for Innovative's benefit offerings, from implementation
to invoices. This role will also help review the payroll and help
with payroll questions when necessary.
Essential Functions:
- Oversee benefits program design to ensure total rewards
programs are competitive
- Ensure that weekly Benefit Carrier Connection files are sent
successfully to benefit carriers and COBRA administrator
- Respond to employee questions and serve as the main resource
for employees and managers regarding all benefit issues
- Reconcile benefit plan invoices and other vendor invoices
- Assist new employees with benefit questions and enrollment as
well as other changes due to qualifying events
- Coordinate annual open enrollment process
- Attend bi-weekly payroll meetings and make benefit changes in
ADP
- Review bi-weekly payroll to ensure accuracy
- Administer leave programs i.e FMLA, disability, etc.
- Administer first report of injury and worker's compensation
claims
- Assist with annual merit review compensation changes
- Participate in the 401(k) Investment Committee and assist with
annual 401(k) audit
- Maintain Human Resource Information System (HRIS) records and
compile reports
- Assist with compliance projects such as Affirmative Action
Plan, OSHA Log, 5500s, ACA reporting, EEO-1 etc.
- Special projects as assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
- BS degree in Business Administration
- 3-5 years of Human Resources or similar experience
- Strong HRIS and computer skills, experience with ADP products
preferred
- Proficient with Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point)
- Excellent customer service and communication skills, including
the ability to assess problems and communicate solutions
- Use discretion and independent judgment to compare and evaluate
possible courses of action and decision-making
- High attention to detail while handling multiple tasks
- Strong organization and prioritization skills; able to organize
and plan work efforts to maximize workplace efficiency and
productivity
- Ability to work with highly confidential information and
maintain confidentiality
