Summary:
The ideal Sous Chef will operate the Heart of House operations efficiently and effectively according to Standards of Excellence and in line with the policies and procedures of the company. The primary goal of the chef is to ensure guest satisfaction by having a sharp, well-groomed staff prepare great food within the timing standards, in a great working environment. The chef is accountable for the operational performance of their shift and the employees that are scheduled for the shift and it is the chef's job to ensure that all of BOH standards are met. The Chef is a support manager for the Executive Chef.

Responsibilities
Oversee and assist the Heart of House in all aspects of food production
Evaluate food products to ensure consistent quality standards
Maintain a regular maintenance and cleanliness for all kitchen areas and equipment
Provide training and professional development opportunities for all kitchen staff

Qualifications
2+ years' of culinary or kitchen experience is preferred
1+ year of kitchen supervisor experience is preferred
Friendly interpersonal and verbal communication skills
Highly organized with excellent attention to detail
