A healthcare opportunity is available for a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) with strong skills in Operating Room Technology (ORT). This contract position is based in Shakopee, MN, providing essential surgical support in a dynamic hospital environment. Key Responsibilities: Provide surgical assistance in various specialties including orthopedics (totals and trauma), neuro, peripheral vascular, and cardiovascular cases Operate and assist with DaVinci surgical systems Utilize EPIC system effectively for documentation and coordination Support the surgical team during procedures with precision and adherence to safety protocols Float as needed within the operating room to meet staffing requirements Work weekends and holidays as required Qualifications and Experience: Active NBSTSA or NCCT certification at time of submission Minimum of 2 years recent surgical technologist experience in an OR setting Proficiency in general surgical technology skills, EPIC, and DaVinci systems Experience in orthopedics, including total joint support and ortho trauma, highly preferred Ability to work varied 10-hour shifts starting between 7:00 AM and 3:00 PM Additional Details: No new graduates accepted for this position Limited return to office (RTO) days, no more than 7 days Weekend and holiday shifts as needed No on-call requirements This is a contract role ideal for a skilled CST seeking to leverage their expertise in a progressive healthcare facility.
