Employment Type: Travel /n Job Description/n American Traveler is
seeking an Ultrasound Sonographer with at least 1 year of specialty
experience, ARDMS eligibility, and strong independent skills for an
overnight weekend travel assignment. /n /n Responsibilities/n -
Hospital-based ultrasound department - Adult and varied patient
population - Must be organized, efficient, and able to multitask -
Overnight shifts Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 7:00 pm to 7:00
am for 36 hours per week - Must be flexible to staff various work
locations, shift times, and lengths - EPIC charting system is used
and EMR experience is preferred - Responds to on-call pager
according to department procedures - Produces high-quality images
for physician interpretation per radiology standards - Practices
safety guidelines for patients and staff and fosters teamwork
through effective communication - Maintains excellent patient
service through proper technique and communication - May be
required to float to various shifts and work locations per staffing
needs - Returning travelers may remain on assignment for up to one
calendar year before a mandatory break - Scrub or dress code per
facility requirements /n /n Requirements/n - Graduate of an
accredited sonography or radiography program - Minimum 1 year
experience as an Ultrasound Sonographer in the specialty - Active
ARDMS (RVT or RDMS in Abdominal or OB/GYN) within 6 months of
employment (RVT preferred as first registry), both RVT and RDMS
within 12 months, third certification in Abdominal or OB/GYN within
18 months - RDMS (Breast) required within 24 months if providing
breast imaging - BLS certification (AHA or American Red Cross) -
Must have active license if applicable - COVID vaccination and
