2-D Echo, 3-D Echo, bubble studies, color Doppler, imaging with
contrast agents, M-Mode, right ventricular inflow tract (RVIT),
right ventricular outflow tract (RVOT), routine, and treadmill
stress echo Description: The Echo Tech position involves performing
echocardiographic procedures for patients. Shift time is from 7:45
AM to 4:15 PM, with potential for late shifts based on patient
needs. A minimum of two years of experience is required, but
first-time travelers are accepted. No weekend requirements are in
place. On-call duties are not required. The clinician may float to
other facilities as needed. Accommodation for block scheduling is
available. Interdisciplinary support is part of the role. Daily
patient census is 7 or more. Experience with specific equipment
such as GE, Philips, and Siemens is preferred. Candidates must be
proficient in Epic charting. The position does not require weekend
coverage. Travelers must have experience in adult outpatient care
and pharmacologic stress echocardiograms. References from previous
supervisors are mandatory upon submission. Compliance documentation
must be submitted by the deadline. Pre-start modules are required
prior to beginning work. If there are any personal vacation plans
between submission and start, these must be communicated in advance
for scheduling. Candidates should be aware that Minnesota state
requirements require fingerprinting for background checks.
