Job Description:
Position Description
Provide Department-wide leadership on community engagement efforts,
including special events, public meetings, and content creation in
the Civil Rights Department and manage all departmental
grant/contract activity.

Job Duties and Responsibilities
Ensure data quality of our systems and enforcement activities while
also enhancing our engagement efforts aimed both internally and
externally.
Required Qualifications
Minimum Education
Bachelor's Degree in Political Science, Public or Business
Administration, Communications, Marketing, Social Work or a closely
related field or equivalent
Minimum Experience
Four years of experience that includes experience working on public
policy initiatives, community outreach and engagement,
communications, grants and experience working with enterprise-wide
initiatives, departments, policymakers and outside
stakeholdersLicenses/Certifications

questions. Only those candidates who attain a passing score (70%)
on each step in the selection process will be placed on the

reserves the right to limit the number in any phase of the
selection process. Background CheckThe City has determined that a
criminal background check and/or qualifications check may be
necessary for certain positions with this job title. Applicants may
be required to sign an informed consent form allowing the City to
obtain their criminal history and/or verify their qualifications in
connection with the position sought. Applicants who do not sign the
informed consent form will not be further considered for the

StatementThe names of applicants who meet minimum qualification and
who pass the screening process shall be placed on the eligible list
for employment consideration. This list will be certified to the
