START YOUR APPLICATION Purpose Statement:The role of the Development Director is to support, develop and train the Residential Supervisors.Job Duties and Responsibilities: (Essential Functions)

  • Train, support, manage and professionally development field supervisors and employees in your region
  • Meet with direct reports at least 1 time per week or every other week for 1:1 meetings
  • Process time cards and Paid Time Off Requests
  • Staff Reviews Annually-to be completed in November
  • Coordinate Residential Supervisor meetings
  • Professionalism
    • External team communications
    • Internal team communications
    • Residential Supervisor interview process participation
    • Residential Supervisor Training Coordination/Process/Checklist to be completed 5 weeks from their start date
    • When a site does not have a Residential Supervisor, implement the No RS Process -
    • Licensing/re-licensing site specific (non-documentation)
    • Resident team communication and involvement as needed
    • Manage supportive housing caseloads, weekly updates, monitoring billing and ensuring engagement with those clients
    • Site specific communication & compliance
    • Managing the site budget (grocery, program, household supplies, etc.) and overtime controlThe Designated Coordinator is responsible for the delivery and evaluation of services provided by the license holder including the provision of supervision, support, and evaluation of activities that include: -
      • Oversight of the license holder's responsibilities assigned in each person's Coordinated Service and Support Plan and SP-A
      • Taking the action necessary to facilitate the accomplishment of the outcomes according to 245D.07
      • Instruction and assistance to staff implementing the Coordinated Service and Support Plan and service outcomes, including direct observation of service delivery sufficient to assess staff competency.
      • Evaluation of the effectiveness of service delivery, methodologies, and progress on each person's outcomes based on the measurable and observable criteria for identifying when the desired outcome has been achieved according to 245D.07Required Skills and Experience (Minimum requirements in terms of educational background, work experience, licenses/certifications or other knowledge skills and abilities) -
        • Valid driver's license -
          • No more than two minor moving violations in the past 3 years
          • No major violations (DUI, Careless, Reckless, Serious Speed, Driving while License Suspended, etc) in the past 5 years
          • Ability to pass a background check with the Department of Health and Human Services
          • The designated coordinator must minimally have: -
            • (1) Bachelor's degree in a field related to human services, and one year of full-time work experience providing direct care services to persons with disabilities or persons age 65 and older; -
            • (2) an associate degree in a field related to human services, and two years of full-time work experience providing direct care services to persons with disabilities or persons age 65 and older; -
            • (3) a diploma in a field related to human services from an accredited postsecondary institution and three years of full-time work experience providing direct care services to persons with disabilities or persons age 65 and older; or
            • (4) a minimum of 50 hours of education and training related to human services and disabilities and
            • (5) four years of full-time work experience providing direct care services to persons with disabilities or persons age 65 and older under the supervision of a staff person who meets the qualifications listed aboveAdditional Skills and Experience (Preferred or helpful)
