Description: WE CREATE WINNING EXPERIENCES SUMMARY: Responsible
for the overall development, implementation and analysis of revenue
maximization efforts for all hotel revenue streams. Responsible for
a high level of guest service as described in your departments
guest service standards. - Hire, schedule, train (including
selling, upselling and negotiating techniques), coach, and evaluate
staff and conduct performance reviews - Implement effective
strategies and processes to yield hotel rooms for loyalty club and
direct marketing programs - Manage all online hotel revenue
channels - Direct daily work activities of the Group Specialist and
inspect work activities for conformance to standards - Set room
rates, including walk-in rates, to ensure competitiveness and
revenue maximization - Track trends and reservations, analyze short
and long term forecasting trends that focus on occupancy, strategic
sales goals and maintains rate parity - Coordinate revenue
meetings, generate action plans and prepare reports that evaluate
rates and applies availability controls - Manage group bookings;
provide impact analysis on occupancy, average room rates and room
profits; determine room availability; and manage cut-off dates -
Liaise with other departments to develop strategies to ensure
positive growth and determine group, entertainment and request for
proposal rates for each season and promotional campaigns -
Establish goals and benchmarks that effectively measure hotel
performance - Evaluate competition to identify selling strategies,
shifts in demands and trends - Analyze hotel performance and market
segments to give strategic recommendations to assist with goal
setting, objectives, sales policies, room rates, credit policies
and annual budget - Administer set performance standards and ensure
adherence to comp procedures needed? - Resolve guest-related issues
quickly, efficiently and courteously - Fill-in at Front Desk and
helps with reservations when necessary IDEAL CANDIDATES HAVE
Required: - 4-year degree in hotel management or related field; and
4 years equivalent experience in a mid-sized, full-service hotel;
or equivalent combination of education and experience - 2 years'
experience with automated Front Desk and Reservation Systems -
Accurate and detail-oriented - Strong organizational skills -
Strong computer skills Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook),
Windows, Property and Revenue Management Systems; Agilysis or V1
experience preferred - Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal
communication skills - Excellent analytical, organizational and
problem solving skills - Excellent communication and customer
service skills - Ability to independently complete multiple tasks
in a professional manner - Ability to serve both internal and
external customers - Ability to manage departmental budget and
control labor and expenses - Ability to control labor costs Four
