Use conditional content filters to create flexible, adaptable content for use across dozens of publications. Capture clear instructional photos to accompany the content you create. Perform other documentation-related tasks as required. Requirements A bachelor’s degree or 4 years of experience in technical writing, communications, engineering, manufacturing, or another relevant field. 1 years of experience with Paligo or a similar structured authoring tool such as MadCap Flare, Adobe RoboHelp, structured FrameMaker, etc. A portfolio of previous technical writing work. Extensive and demonstrable experience, proficiency, and/or passion for understanding, working with, and learning about complex machinery. Key Skills Excellent writing and editing skills and a meticulous attention to detail. Strong interpersonal communication skills for working and building relationships with technicians, mechanics, assemblers, and other hands-on SMEs. Ability to work independently towards pre-established outcomes with light supervision. Work Environment The work will be fully on-site and split between an office and an assembly workshop with no option for remote work. The following distributions are estimations and subject to change: Approximately sixty percent (60%) of the work will be performed in an office setting, sitting or standing at a desk, and working independently on a computer.
