Job Description Job Description Job Title: Process Control Technician Job Description Join our team as a Process Control Technician where you will play a vital role in maintaining and enhancing the performance of our production systems. You will be responsible for analyzing and resolving electrical problems, troubleshooting analog/digital electronic control systems, and ensuring efficient operation of our equipment. Responsibilities Preventative maintenance on conveyor systems Install and maintain both pneumatic and electronic process control instruments. Repair, calibrate, and clean instruments, pressure switches, flow tubes, and gauges. Ensure proper machine settings and monitor key process points for compliance. Act as a troubleshooter to identify and correct line performance issues. Install, adjust, and repair processing equipment as per specifications. Utilize a Planned Maintenance Program to maintain equipment. Monitor compliance to safety procedures and evaluate processes for safety risks. Oversee general housekeeping and ensure a clean and safe work environment. Ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices. Essential Skills Experience in maintenance repair and mechanical repair. Strong skills in electrical wiring, hydraulics, and pneumatics. Proficiency in preventive maintenance and troubleshooting. Experience in working with mechanical systems and equipment repair. Additional Skills & Qualifications Two-year certificate from a college or technical school, or six to twelve months of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Work Environment Work in a food production facility with a controlled environment, requiring hair nets, beard nets, and boot coverings. The team size ranges from 6 to 10 people, and the work involves canning food products. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of FARIBAULT, MN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $50000.00 - $68000.00/yr. Health, Dental and Vision benefits packages available for review. $250 referral bonus Tuition reimbursement for relevant schooling/training to the field For the Holiday Schedule all days listed are paid without needing to use any PTO. The plant shutdown varies each year based on when the holidays fall but it is always Christmas Eve through New Year’s Day is our shutdown time. President’s Day this year was our floating holiday so that is not always the same. For the medical premiums the cost does drop for the following year if they do the biometric screen in October at our on-site wellness fair. That information is listed on page 13 in the benefit guide. There is a wellness program that employees can earn anywhere from $75-$150 based on how many points they earn throughout the year and is paid out to them early January of the following year.
