Specialist / ABA Therapy training and have a minimum 1 years
Behavior Therapy experience. Applicants who do not meet these
qualifications will not be considered. An opportunity is available
for a qualified Intervener Substitute to provide vital 1:1 support
to a first-grade student with dual sensory impairments at an
elementary school in South St. Paul, Minnesota. This 6-week leave
coverage position ensures the continuity of specialized services
during the primary interveners absence. Key Responsibilities: -
Deliver consistent, individualized support to a first-grade student
with sensory access needs - Facilitate communication methods,
orientation, mobility, and access to the curriculum - Implement
sensory, environmental, and safety strategies tailored to the
student - Collaborate effectively with classroom teachers, related
service providers, and the Student Services team - Document student
progress and observations according to district protocols -
Maintain continuity of interventions and established routines
throughout the assignment Qualifications and Experience: -
Bachelors degree required - Valid Short-Call Substitute License
from PELSB - Previous experience as an Intervener, preferably in a
school setting - Experience supporting students with sensory
impairments; deafblindness experience preferred - Proficiency in
implementing communication systems and sensory access strategies -
Strong collaboration and communication skills Location: South St.
Paul, Minnesota Elementary school setting, supporting a 1st-grade
student This contract position follows the standard school day
schedule from Monday through Friday, beginning March 2, 2026, and
will last approximately six weeks. Providing critical support to
help a student with unique sensory needs thrive, this role offers a
meaningful and impactful experience in the special education field.
Qualified candidates with relevant background and licensure are

this position ranges from $31.70 to $51.75. Eligible candidates may
