Our Office Specialist position would work at our Corporate Office
from Monday-Friday, 7:30a-4pm with a 30minute lunch break. This
position acts as the front desk and is the greeter to all
individuals coming in.
- Greeting clients and visitors as needed.
- Handling incoming calls, faxes and other communications; direct
as necessary.
- Managing filing system.
- Recruiting and Onboarding for new hires via Paylocity
- Run background studies for 245D settings with Netstudy 2.0
- Run Motor Vehicle Reports for new hires
- Recording information as needed.
- Updating paperwork, maintaining documents and word
processing.
- Helping organize and maintain office common areas. Performing
general office clerk duties and errands.
- Organizing travel by booking accommodations and reservations
needs as required.
- Coordinating events as necessary.
- Maintaining supply inventory.
- Maintaining office equipment as needed.
- Aiding with client reception as needed.
- Experience as a virtual assistant.
- Creating, maintaining, and entering information into databases.
Receipt Entering & budget monitoring with Quickbooks
- Attend and participate in continuing education programs as
required by Supervisor.
- May be required to work after hours during emergency conditions
(e.g., severe weather, evacuation, post-disaster, etc.).
- Communicate effectively with the managerial positions, part and
full time staff, and other supervisors.
Requirements:
- One (1) year of experience in the field with a two-year post
secondary education and/or.
- Three (3) years of experience in the field with no post
secondary education experience.
- Specific Requirements
- Must possess a current, unencumbered driver's license in this
state.
- Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English
language.
- Must possess the ability to make independent decisions when
circumstances warrant such action.
- Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with personnel,
residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel,
and the general public.
- Must possess leadership and supervisory ability and the
willingness to work harmoniously with other personnel.
- Must have patience, tact, a cheerful disposition and
enthusiasm, as well as the willingness to handle difficult
residents or situations.
- Must be willing to seek out new methods and principles and be
willing to incorporate them into existing practices.
- Must not pose a direct threat to the health or safety of other
individuals in the workplace.

- Must be able to move frequently throughout the workday.
- Must be able to speak and write the English language in an
understandable manner.
- Must be able to cope with the mental and emotional stress of
the position.
- Must be able to see and hear or use prosthetics that will
enable these senses to function adequately to ensure that the
requirements of this position can be fully met.
- Must function independently and have flexibility, personal
integrity, and the ability to work effectively with residents,
personnel, and support agencies.
- Must meet the general health requirements set forth by the
policies of this program, which include a medical and physical
examination.
- Must be able to relate to and work with the disabled,
emotionally upset, and, at times, hostile individuals in the
